TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These are the Terms and Conditions of sale of Maya Light. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully so that you are fully aware of your rights and obligations. By placing an order through the Maya Light website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

3.1 All prices quoted in the Maya Light webstore at the moment of placing an order is the total price in Euros, including all taxes but without delivery charges. Shipping options and related charges, as well as payment costs, appear once products are selected.
3.2 Maya Light makes every effort to ensure that prices quoted on the website are correct. All items are sold subject to availability and prices of products may change from time to time. If the quote for an item contains an obvious mistake, such as an unusually low price, I reserve the right to adapt this. Please contact me when you doubt the validity of a quoted price.
3.3 Maya Light takes reasonable care to ensure that product legends and specifications are as accurate as possible, but as jewelry from Maya Light is handcrafted, variations may occur. If items are below your expectations, you have the right to return them as will be stated in clause 7.
4.1 When you buy an article via the Maya Light website, you enter into an agreement with Maya Light. The agreement starts when Maya Light has sent an order confirmation to the e-mail address specified by you.
4.2 To enable a smooth and timely processing of your order, it is important that you correctly and completely provide your first and last name, your e-mail address, and your address of delivery. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details provided. Maya Light will use this personal information exclusively for the purpose as indicated in the Privacy Statement, also available on this website.
4.3 Maya Light will get your order ready as soon as you have paid. Until such time, the product(s) will remain in possession of Maya Light. Ownership of the ordered products passes to you as soon as Maya Light has received full payment.
4.4 Once your order is processed and paid, you will receive an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase, together with details of the order and shipment.
5.1 You may pay with iDeal, PayPal or credit card (MasterCard or VISA) at the time of placing an order.
5.2 Payments will be made in Euros. In the event of purchases made using credit cards issued outside the Euro-zone, your credit card provider or bank may determine the applicable exchange rate and may add an additional processing charge in relation to your purchase. You will be responsible for any such charges.
5.3 Data pertaining to credit cards such as card owner, card number or expiry date will be automatically encrypted by a secure system without Maya Light having access to such information. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. In the case of a refund, the information of the card used for payment will not be available. When paying with Visa or MasterCard, an additional protection will be provided by a special authentication method (Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code). Maya Light shall in no way be held liable for any damages resulting from fraud or any other unlawful act committed by third parties using credit card information or any other related data of the buyer.
6.1 Maya Light delivers via PostNL or DHL. If you wish to have your products delivered with another shipping company, you may send me an e-mail and I shall endeavor to comply with your request, yet extra shipping charges will be levied on you.
6.2 Maya Light will send the order as quickly as possible but cannot give an exact delivery date. If a significant delay in delivery is expected, you will be notified via e-mail as soon as you place the order. Similarly, notifications will be placed on the website about items that may incur delays in delivery.
6.3 If you gave a wrong delivery address or if there was nobody to accept the package, the extra cost of resending the article(s) will have to be borne by the customer.
6.4 All risks in the ordered products, e.g., loss and/or damage, shall pass to you when they are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order. However, it is considered the fault of Maya Light if your order is damaged or lost before it reaches you.
7.1 Maya Light wants you to be a happy customer and hopes that you will enjoy the jewelry provided. However, if the article(s) are not to your taste, or if there are other problems, such as manufacturing faults, you are welcome to return the product(s) within 14 days after receipt of the item(s).
7.2 If you wish to return an item or items because of wrong sizing, please let me know by e-mail within 14 days so that I can advise on a possible solution, which may include replacement of the item(s), or offering a refund if the product(s) are no longer available.
7.3 If you return an item or items because of a manufacturing fault, please let me know by e-mail within 14 days so that I can advise on a possible solution, which may include either repairs or replacement of the article(s). This will take up to fourteen working days unless you have been notified of a shorter delay.
7.4 Returns will only be accepted if sent back in the original Maya Light box packaging.
7.5 In the event that you wish to return an article or articles, please send me an e-mail giving sufficient details about the reason why you wish to return the item(s). I shall then respond via e-mail, giving you instructions, as appropriate, about how best to return the item(s) and how the refund should be arranged.
7.6 It will be your responsibility to obtain and retain a proof of postage as evidence of you having returned the item(s) in the event that I do not receive your returned item(s). Maya Light we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the item(s) incurred during transit. I therefore advise you to use a recorded delivery service.
7.7 Maya Light will not bear the postage charge of returns unless the reasons for returning was due to a manufacturing fault or wrong shipment.
7.8 All returned products will undergo inspection before a refund is made. If the return is incomplete or if there are signs of extensive usage, damage or incorrect handling, Maya Light reserves the right to refuse the refund.
7.9 The refund, if applicable, will be made after product inspection, which will be done within fourteen working days from the moment of having received the parcel back. You will be informed by e-mail in case a further delay is needed or justified.
8.1 All legal relations with Maya Light are governed by Dutch law.
8.2 All pictures on the Maya Light website and those that are shared by the linked social media platforms are made either by Maya Light herself or are free of copyright.
